Some of you may want to settle in with a good book with the snow coming this weekend. So, I wanted to share my recent Amazon Audible selections: Tina Turner’s “My Love Story,” Leah Remini’s “Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology,” and Lucille Ball’s “Love, Lucy.”

Three women from three different generations, yet they share similar virtuous qualities. Each came from challenging circumstances, but never allowed shame to decrease their worth. They trudged through the worst of what life threw at them holding firm to their moral compass, and true to their hearts. Their stories are insightful and inspiring.

I recommend all three books, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be Tina Turner’s memoir, “My Love Story.” In it, she reflects on an exciting life that spans nearly 80 years. I found fascinating to discover her thoughts at certain times in her life, and what lessons she’s taken away. She’s a tough lady who has faced many difficult circumstances with tenacity and grace, and is quite a role model.
